The European Data Protection Board (EDPB) approved a new statement regarding the application of the PNR directive, in light of the ruling of the Court of Justice of the EU (CJEU) in case C-817/19.

The European Health Data Space (EHDS) will enter into force on 25 March 2025. The aim of the new European Regulation (EU) 2025/327 on the EHDS is to optimise the exchange of and access to health information within the EU.

The ICLG to Environment & Climate Change Law 2024 covers common issues in environment and climate change laws and regulations – including environmental policy and its enforcement, environmental permits, waste, liabilities, a.o. – in 19 jurisdictions.

Het recente Jaarverslag en het jurisprudentieoverzicht 2019 van de Afdeling bestuursrechtspraak van de Raad van State (‘Afdeling’) biedt ook dit jaar een nuttig inzicht in de werkzaamheden van de Afdeling.

Een van de uitgangspunten van de Omgevingswet is flexibiliteit. Daarom voorziet de wetgever onder de Omgevingswet zoveel mogelijk in doelvoorschriften in plaats van middelvoorschriften.
