Stibbe has advised the lenders providing finance to BAAK Blankenburg-Verbinding B.V., a consortium consisting of Ballast Nedam, DEME and Macquarie Capital, on reaching financial close in the A24 Blankenburg connection project.

Stibbe assisted the Walloon Transport Operator (OTW) with the creation of a brand new tramway network (11.7 km) including the construction of 21 stations and a new depot and the acquisition of trams in Liège, Wallonia.

Stibbe advised SOFICO, the Walloon Region’s financing company, on one of Wallonia’s most innovative and ambitious PPP projects.

Stibbe advised Macquarie in connection with their winning bid for the tender of the design, build, financing and maintenance (DBFM) of the A9 Badhoevedorp/Holendrecht Project.

Stibbe advised the Belgian Buildings Agency on the financial close of the Dendermonde Prison project.

Stibbe acted as a transaction counsel to Floating PV NV, a vehicle set up by Sibelco, Groep Machiels and Luminus to build five hectares of floating solar panels at Sibelco’s Schansheide quarry in Dessel.

The Minister of Infrastructure and Water Management officially opened the first lanes of the Gaasperdammertunnel on the A9 in Amsterdam-Zuidoost on 5 July. The Gaasperdammertunnel forms part of the PPP SAA A9 Gaasperdammerweg roads project.

Stibbe advised the VEENIX consortium on reaching financial close in the PPP Project A9 Badhoevedorp-Holendrecht. Financial Close occurred on 2 December 2019.

Stibbe advised Catella Real Estate AG on its second acquisition in Luxembourg: a 14,000m² office building in the emerging office district of Howald, which is almost fully let to Saint-Paul Luxembourg media group.

Stibbe advises Alides REIM on the acquisition of the entities owning the 12,868m² Montoyer 34 office building located in the heart of the European district in Brussels.

Stibbe Luxembourg advised on a $1.8 billion financing by Mubadala Capital for a Brazilian refinery.

Stibbe advised GGID and EscherCloud on Project Westpoort, the acquisition of a property in Amsterdam Westpoort and a series of assets from Caransa Group, as well securing financing from debt and various equity investors.
