Stibbe advises Alides REIM on the acquisition of the entities owning the 12,868m² Montoyer 34 office building located in the heart of the European district in Brussels.

Stibbe assists Alides, a Belgian real estate developer and investor, with the acquisition of the companies owning the Montoyer 34 building which currently houses the European Commission. The property, currently managed by the investment and asset manager QUEST Funds, comprises 12,868​m² of office space and 276 parking spaces. 

This new major acquisition is part of Alides' ambition to expand its footprint in Brussels. Following the acquisition process, the building will be completely renovated with special attention to sustainability and ecological innovation in accordance with the European Green Deal objectives.

The Stibbe team was led by Matthias Maselis and further involved, among others, Julie De Meester, Annelies Van Huffel and Michael Barbier.
