Stella specialises in administrative law and environmental law within the Environment & Planning practice. She has a special interest in permits, nitrogen related issues, compliance and enforcement.

Stella represents her clients before the Dutch courts in complex proceedings concerning environmental issues and in negotiations with government agencies and other public authorities. She works for clients from both the public and the private sector in a wide range of public law matters.

She obtained a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Constitutional and Administrative Law from the University of Leiden in 2022, with a thesis on the question whether environment funds can contribute to increasing local support in the realisation of large energy projects (within the current legal framework and within the upcoming Environment and Planning Act).
