Stibbe is proud to announce that it has continued its sponsorship of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in Amsterdam.
Derk Lemstra, Managing Partner of Stibbe Amsterdam, says: "Developing talent is part of Stibbe's culture and ambition. The musicians of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra know all about performing at the highest level. They manage to surpass themselves during concert performances, enthralling audiences in the Netherlands and on the international stage over and over again.
Jan Raes, managing director RCO: "Stibbe operates in the same global, changing world as the Royal Concert Hall Orchestra, and from the same home base in Amsterdam. In gratitude we continue our partnership in a way that it is of great added value to Stibbe as well as for the orchestra, in the Netherlands and abroad. Constant pursuit of excellence connects us in a natural way and thus forms the solid foundation of our long, successful partnership."
The Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra is widely considered to be one of the best symphony orchestras in the world with a repertoire that focuses on both tradition and renewal. The orchestra, which is housed in the beautiful Royal Concert Hall, regularly tours in many countries reaching some 250,000 concert-goers a year, and has made over 1,100 recordings.
Thanks to contributions from Stibbe and other sponsors, the orchestra is able to maintain its leading global position. We are delighted to have been sponsoring this cultural icon since 2007.
The contributions made by the orchestra’s sponsors directly support the national and international excellence embodied by the unique crown jewel of the Netherlands that is the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra.
