Pro bono
Stibbe strives to use its legal expertise to make a real difference in projects of NGOs and to make a positive contribution to society. Each year, we handle a number of pro bono matters that have social significance and, in several cases, address a fundamental legal principle. Our advice frequently focuses on complex issues of civil, administrative, corporate or human rights law.
Pro bono requests
Requests for pro bono assistance are assessed by our pro bono committee, which is an initiative of Stibbe members and consists of lawyers with expertise in various areas of law. The assessment is made in light of the following criteria:

When the pro bono commission decides to take on a case on a pro bono basis, the case is assigned to a team of lawyers within the firm with expertise in the relevant areas of law.
Request for pro bono assistance (Stibbe Amsterdam)
Stibbe in Amsterdam receives requests for pro bono assistance from within its own network or from Pro Bono Connect, the clearing house in which Stibbe is actively involved. If you would like to submit a request for pro bono assistance to Stibbe's pro bono committee, please complete and submit the intake form below. The pro bono committee will review your request and let you know as soon as possible whether your case qualifies for pro bono assistance.
