Diversity & Inclusion
The world around us is changing rapidly. A greater variety of skills is needed, both in society and in the workplace, to find solutions to increasingly complex problems. We must therefore look beyond cultural, financial, religious, political, regional or other boundaries, and be able to work and live alongside people who are different from each other.
At Stibbe, we set up initiatives and partnerships that focus on attracting, retaining and growing diverse talent, and on working together in an inclusive way. We also support initiatives aimed at promoting diversity and inclusion within our sector and the business community as a whole, and we participate in social debate where necessary and relevant.
We believe that, in order to provide our clients with high-quality legal advice, we need people who bring in different views, ideas and experiences.
We create a diverse workforce
Our goal is to create a diverse workforce that reflects the clients and communities we serve. We do this by establishing D&I protocols in all our policies and processes.
We believe that, in order to provide our clients with high-quality legal advice, we need people who bring in different views, ideas and experiences. In addition to people's qualities and skills, a diverse composition of teams in areas such as gender, sexual orientation, skin colour, cultural and socio-economic background, religion, disability and age is indispensable for providing the highest quality service to our clients.
We have an ongoing commitment to gender balance in our departments and leadership positions. We do this by investing in the personal and professional development of our people and offering flexible work solutions so that they can combine their work with family life. In addition, we promote female entrepreneurship and gender equality by encouraging and supporting women at Stibbe to realise their professional aspirations. In that respect, we are a member of several diversity-promoting networks, such as the Women in Law and Leadership (WILL) programme, the Legal Diversity & Inclusion Alliance (LDIA) and the Women Leadership Programme.
We commit to a culture of inclusion
We aim to create a culture of inclusion where all Stibbe members are empowered to be themselves and have the opportunity to develop to their full, unique potential.
