We assisted the Belgian insurance company Contassur in all aspects of the sale of a closed traditional group life insurance portfolio of branch 21 to the Belgian subsidiary of Monument RE, Monument Assurance Belgium.

Stibbe acted as counsel to Iret Develoment in its tendering procedure, development, and negotiations of the more than EUR 100 million public–private partnership (PPP) project, which is the new police headquarters building in Antwerp.

Stibbe represented Swiss Life before the criminal courts of Antwerp in a case in which it is charged with issuing "Tak 23" investment products that are financed by means of an allegedly illegal system of mortgage loans.

Stibbe assisted the City of Brussels in the real estate, town planning, environmental, tax, and public procurement aspects of the renovation and redevelopment project of the Heysel site called “Project NEO”.
