Stibbe advises Proximus on the sale of its majority stake in Be-Mobile
Stibbe advises Belgian-listed company Proximus, a leading provider of digital services and communication solutions, on the sale of its majority stake in Be-Mobile to Arrive, a global leader in digital parking and mobility solutions. The transaction is based on an enterprise value of EUR 170 million.
Proximus has signed a binding agreement with Arrive to sell its 92.7% stake in Be‑Mobile NV, the Benelux market leader in subscription-based driver companion apps, mobility payment solutions, and traffic data and control services. This transaction is part of Proximus’ strategic asset divestments plan and will enable the Proximus group to reach its EUR 500 million divestment target more than two years ahead of schedule.
For Arrive, the acquisition will expand its parking services portfolio and strengthen its position in Belgium and the Netherlands.
The agreement is subject to review by the Belgian screening authority for foreign direct investments (ISC), with closing anticipated in the second half of 2025.
