Stibbe advises VEENIX consortium
Stibbe has advised the VEENIX consortium on on the tender, contracting and reaching financial close in the PPP Project A9 Badhoevedorp-Holendrecht in 2019.
The VEENIX consortium was led by Macquarie Capital and supported by Siemens and project delivery firm Count & Cooper. Macquarie Capital also acted financial advisor and debt arranger to the consortium, raising over EUR 1bn of project finance debt from commercial lenders, institutions and the European Investment Bank. FCC Construcción acts as main contractor to the project. PGGM has acquired the project from Macquarie. Over the recent years, Stibbe has continued to advise VeenIX / PGGM on the project, assisting with various amendments to the project documents and consequential changes to the finance documents.
