He represents both national and international clients, including contractors and contracting authorities.
Recent matters include advising:
- BN-TAV construction consortium on the Schiphol A-Pier (FIDIC) dispute concerning design responsibility and contract termination,
- a major European contractor on Zuidbroek Nitrogen Plant (FIDIC) arbitration on termination and completion issues,
- a European construction company on Cooltower Rotterdam (UAV(GC)) dispute-resolution proceedings,
- the contractor on University of Groningen (UAV(GC)) disputes relating to a new university building project, and
- VEENIX consortium on the A9 Badhoevedorp–Holendrecht (PPP/DBFM) project.
Daniël holds a bachelor’s degree in international and European Law and a master's degree in Dutch Civil Law from the University of Groningen (cum laude, 2019).
