Within environmental law, Sandra’s practice involves a wide range of consultancy and litigation concerning environmental permits and enforcement aspects of environmental law. Within this field, she specialises in a wide range of topics including noise, soil contamination and substances of very high concern. She also focusses on the European Emission Trading System (EU-ETS). 

Within subsidy law, Sandra is involved in litigation for clients whose subsidy applications have been rejected or subsidy amounts have been reduced and advises government agencies that wish to grant subsidies. She is a member of the Stibbe NOW team, which deals with cases relating to the Temporary Emergency Bridging Measure for Sustained Employment.

Sandra has been a guest lecturer for the Introduction to Administrative Law seminars at Leiden University in 2023 and 2025. On behalf of Stibbe, she was a lecturer at Schulinck, Wolters Kluwer's training institute, where she gave courses on the Environment Act to municipalities throughout the Netherlands.

Sandra is an annotator for the legal journal AB Rechtspraak Bestuursrecht, Milieu & Recht and VAST. She has contributed to various podcasts on Stibbe Legal Insights.

Sandra has a master's degree in law from the University of Leiden (2018). In 2023 she participated in the MBA Highlights Program at the INSEAD Business School.
