Maxine focuses on environmental and planning law, with a particular focus on spatial planning and permits.
Maxine advises private and public clients on all aspects of environmental law, including European legislation. She also assists clients with permit applications, administrative appeal procedures, and procedures before the Council of State (Raad van State / Conseil d’État), the Flemish Council for Permit Disputes (Raad voor Vergunningsbetwistingen) and the civil courts.
She obtained a master’s degree in Law from KU Leuven in 2019. She also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in European Public Law and Governance with a focus on environmental law from Maastricht University, the Netherlands (2020).
Maxine joined the Brussels office of Stibbe in 2021.
