The sectors we service are just as diverse including transportation, water and waste projects, telecommunications and all aspects of social accommodation.

Guiding clients through every aspect, we handle complex tender procedures, contractual matters (including concessions and DBFM(O) contracts), financing (including on a PPP/PFI basis), competition aspects, tax law, public law, planning and zoning, regulatory issues, and environmental law.

Combing practical and academic expertise, our multidisciplinary teams consistently assist clients in managing contractual risks and achieving the very best value from their infrastructure project. Because of the variety of our client base, we understand the interests of all major players in infrastructure transactions, including public and private interests, as well as those of sponsors and lenders.

Dutch Supreme Court clarifies evidentiary rules concerning signatures and signed documents

Short Reads - In two recent decisions, the Dutch Supreme Court has clarified the evidentiary power of signed documents. If the signatory unambiguously denies that the signature on the document is his or hers or claims that another party has tampered with the signature (for instance, through forgery or copying a signature from one document and pasting it in another), it is up to the party invoking the signed document to prove the signature's authenticity (ECLI:NL:HR:2019:572).

Although early noises predicted an entirely new data protection regime, the European legal framework did not change substantially, the major changes being an expansion of the territorial scope to non-EU countries and stronger powers of enforcement.
