Stibbe assisted a private investment fund in a litigation case against the American Internal Revenue Service concerning the cross-border leasing of railway material, and the applicability of Belgian law on such a transaction.

Stibbe assisted real estate developers Breevast and Immobel in negotiating and signing an important lease agreement with the Building Authority.

Stibbe advised Nasdaq listed Qorvo, a leading provider of core technologies and RF solutions for mobile, infrastructure and defense applications, on its acquisition of Netherlands-based privately-held GreenPeak Technologies.

Stibbe acted as longstanding legal counsel for Makro Cash & Carry Belgium in various legal fields, such as socio-economic legislation, competition and unfair competition law, consumer protection, general commercial, etc.

Stibbe acted as a transaction counsel to Floating PV NV, a vehicle set up by Sibelco, Groep Machiels and Luminus to build five hectares of floating solar panels at Sibelco’s Schansheide quarry in Dessel.

Stibbe has advised Aedifica on the further expansion of its healthcare real estate portfolio in the Netherlands with the acquisition and lease of 2 elderly care residences in Oss and Dordrecht.
