Under the Environment and Planning Act (Omgevingswet), there is a commitment to implement more early participation. The extensive preparation procedure (uniforme openbare voorbereidingsprocedure) remains the main and most elaborate source of participation

Onder de Omgevingswet wordt ingezet op meer vroegtijdige participatie. Toch blijft de inspraakprocedure van afdeling 3.4 Awb (uitgebreide openbare voorbereidingsprocedure (uov)) de belangrijkste en meest uitgewerkte bron van participatie.

De regering wil het verbod op constitutionele toetsing gedeeltelijk afschaffen. Rechters zouden formele wetten kunnen toetsen aan klassieke grondrechten. Wat betekent dit conceptwetsvoorstel voor de Nederlandse rechtsstaat?
