Stibbe participated in the Pro Bono Collaborative for Refugees in the Netherlands of The Dutch Council for Refugees (Stichting Vluchtelingenwerk) in 2022 and 2023.

Stibbe advised consortium ZuidPlus (Fluor, Heijmans and Hochtief) in connection with the Zuidasdok project in Amsterdam.

The Minister of Infrastructure and Water Management officially opened the first lanes of the Gaasperdammertunnel on the A9 in Amsterdam-Zuidoost on 5 July. The Gaasperdammertunnel forms part of the PPP SAA A9 Gaasperdammerweg roads project.

Stibbe advised the VEENIX consortium on reaching financial close in the PPP Project A9 Badhoevedorp-Holendrecht. Financial Close occurred on 2 December 2019.

Stibbe assisted an international insurance company in class action proceedings before the criminal courts regarding the sale of life insurance investment products and their unraveling due to the financial downturn.

Stibbe assisted the Walloon Transport Operator (OTW) with the creation of a brand new tramway network (11.7 km) including the construction of 21 stations and a new depot and the acquisition of trams in Liège, Wallonia.

Stibbe advised SOFICO, the Walloon Region’s financing company, on one of Wallonia’s most innovative and ambitious PPP projects.

On November 21 2017, the Public Prosecutor demanded a year of unconditional prison sentence against the former president Timo Huges of the Dutch Railways (NS) for his role in alleged fraud concerning the tender for regional public transport in Limburg. On

Stibbe acted as counsel to Iret Develoment in its tendering procedure, development, and negotiations of the more than EUR 100 million public–private partnership (PPP) project, which is the new police headquarters building in Antwerp.

Stibbe successfully advised the Brussels Capital Region (represented by Minister Pascal Smet) on the PPP renovation of the Leopold II Tunnel (2.5 km), Belgium’s longest underpass, which has 65,000 road users daily. 

Stibbe assisted the Belgian Buildings Agency (federal government agency) on the construction of six prison compounds in Belgium.

Stibbe assisted Dutch real estate developer PROWINKO with the realisation of a large project on the Toison d’Or block in Brussels.

Stibbe represented Artesia Bank Nederland in the Lernout & Hauspie case before the Court of Appeal in Ghent regarding the possible confiscation of shares worth EUR 30 million. We also assisted Dexia Bank in the L&H case before Belgium's Supreme Court.

Stibbe represented the Ministry of Finance in annulment proceedings pursued by the Flemish Bar Council before the Constitutional Court against the Belgian Preventative Money Laundering Act.

Stibbe represented Swiss Life before the criminal courts of Antwerp in a case in which it is charged with issuing "Tak 23" investment products that are financed by means of an allegedly illegal system of mortgage loans.

Stibbe assisted the City of Brussels in the real estate, town planning, environmental, tax, and public procurement aspects of the renovation and redevelopment project of the Heysel site called “Project NEO”.
