Over the years, he has also developed a strong expertise regarding procurement law and the division of competences in Belgium. Moreover, he has experience in drafting laws and regulatory texts for public authorities, at all levels in Belgium.

He has experience with on- and offshore renewable energy projects, energy efficiency projects, grid operation and construction, pipelines, nuclear energy, energy commodity trading, CO2 emission trading, and the EU Emissions Trading System (ETS).

In both areas of law, he represents clients in contentious procedures before all types of courts such as the Council of State, the Constitutional Court and the civil courts. His clients belong to a wide range of sectors such as energy, health care, transport and utilities.
