Cas represents various multinationals, including major audit firms and financial institutions.

For a period of one year, he was part of Stibbe’s Banking & Finance team, with which he worked on multi-jurisdiction banking and finance transactions.

Cas has authored and co-authored numerous blogs and journal articles on private international law, contract law and tort law. He is a member of the editorial board of Wolters Kluwer’s commentary on the law of obligations (Groene Serie Verbintenissenrecht), particularly responsible for commentating on Articles 6:17-26 of the Dutch Civil Code concerning alternative and conditional obligations.

He obtained a master's degree in Private Law as well as a master’s degree in Business Economics (Urban, Port & Transport Economics) from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
