Auke-Frank is a lawyer in our TMT/IP practice group, specialising in intellectual property, artificial intelligence, IT, data protection and cybersecurity law.

He is an all-round tech lawyer with extensive experience in the IP, IT and regulatory aspects of M&A transactions. Auke-Frank has conducted litigation across Dutch and European courts, including the Dutch Supreme Court and the Unified Patent Court. His experience as in-house counsel to a global IT company provides valuable insight into what matters most for clients.

He previously worked at the Amsterdam and Munich offices of a large international law firm, advising diverse national and international clients across private equity, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, production and financial services.

Auke-Frank obtained bachelor's and master's degrees in IT law from the University of Groningen, including a semester abroad in Canada, and completed the IAPP AI Governance Professional certification in 2025.
