Rut specialises in general administrative law, environmental and planning law, compliance and sanctions and governmental liability issues.
She works in close collaboration with a wide range of clients including international and national leading companies, developers and public bodies, such as municipalities and provinces.
Rut assists and advises her clients by representing their interests before the courts and in negotiations, including liaising with relevant authorities regarding permit and zoning plan procedures or in relation to enforcement actions.
Rut has a Master of Laws in constitutional and administrative law from Utrecht University (2012). She completed the postgraduate course in spatial planning and environmental law from the Grotius Academy in 2018 (cum laude) and in that same year, she attended the Stibbe MBA Highlights Programme at INSEAD (2018).
She is a member of the Administrative Law Association, the Environment Law Association, the Construction Law Association and the Stibbe Pro Bono Committee.
