Stibbe advised Flanders Investment Company on the structuring and transfer of the long lease rights on the Chancellerie building to a major real estate developer through an auction process. The 14,900m² office building situated on a prime location in the Brussels city centre will be fully redeveloped over the coming years.
The process was successfully led by Cushman & Wakefield who acted as the seller's broker.
The multidisciplinary Stibbe team was led by real estate partner Matthias Maselis and further involved, among others, Wim Panis, Julie De Meester, David Verbeke and Elmo Goossens.
