Insurance

In the aftermath of the financial crisis, both the insurance and reinsurance sectors continue to face many challenges and regulatory changes. We guide clients through all issues, helping them to achieve their commercial and legal ambitions.

With multidisciplinary expertise and knowledge of the market, our dedicated insurance team has a solid track record in respect of M&A, restructurings, advisory work, distribution arrangements and regulatory issues. We handle these matters for a broad spectrum of insurance and reinsurance companies, and other financial institutions.

Teamwork with colleagues who specialise in other legal areas enables us to provide integrated legal advice. For example, we work closely with our specialists in capital markets, M&A, litigation, tax and employment.

As our involvement is often strategic in nature, we work with our clients in many areas to manage their liabilities, assets, mitigate larger risks and assist them across a wide range of insurance business lines. With a keen knowledge of the latest regulatory and legislative changes, we also keep our clients up to speed on any relevant developments.

As part of our service, we also handle many complex litigious matters before the courts.
