Pro Bono Collaborative for Refugees in the Netherlands Stibbe participated in the Pro Bono Collaborative for Refugees in the Netherlands of The Dutch Council for Refugees (Stichting Vluchtelingenwerk) in 2022 and 2023. Stibbe advises Bureau Clara Wichmann on appeal in birth mother case The Dutch state forced at least 13,000 women to give up their newborn babies between 1956 and 1984. These birth mothers suffered a great deal of distress as a result, and many of them are still feeling the pain today. Legal proceedings on government oversight of the Healthcare Inspectorate in Pelvic Floor Mat Complications Stibbe is actively engaged in legal cases on behalf of Bureau Clara Wichmann, a women's rights NGO, concerning government oversight of transvaginal pelvic floor mats (bekkenbodemmatjes). Participation under the Environment and Planning Act Under the Environment and Planning Act (Omgevingswet), there is a commitment to implement more early participation. The extensive preparation procedure (uniforme openbare voorbereidingsprocedure) remains the main and most elaborate source of participation Participatie onder de Omgevingswet Onder de Omgevingswet wordt ingezet op meer vroegtijdige participatie. Toch blijft de inspraakprocedure van afdeling 3.4 Awb (uitgebreide openbare voorbereidingsprocedure (uov)) de belangrijkste en meest uitgewerkte bron van participatie. The object of this foundation is to challenge the existing dominant power within the international legal system.
