Stibbe advised SOLO Group, a network of unique brands whose common aim is to create clothing and accessories, on the financing for the acquisition of Mid Ocean Group B.V. Mid Ocean Group’s mission is to make promotional items the most cost-effective, sustainable and fastest accessible marketing tool through continuous innovation and unbeatable turnaround times.
It owns several entities in Spain, Hong Kong, the Netherlands and Poland, among other countries, all of which have formed part of SOLO Group since the acquisition became effective in mid-June 2022.
Stibbe advised SOLO Group together with the French law firms Sekri Valentin Zerrouk (for finance matters) and Ayache (for corporate matters). Stibbe’s notarial team, led by IJsbrand van Straten, assisted with the notarial work involved in the acquisition.
