Stibbe advises the consortium consisting of Van Oord, BAM and Rebel group in relation to the restructuring of the newly reinforced Afsluitdijk PPP Project (DBFM).

This PPP project got into severe difficulties due to erroneous data/calculations provided by the State to the contractors. A material part of the design and construction process had to be redone. Given the size and the complexity of the project, this gave rise to substantial damage and delay.

Stibbe is advising on all legal and strategical aspects of the discussions/negotiations with the State of the Netherlands.
