On 17 February 2024, the Digital Services Act (DSA) became fully applicable within the European Union (EU), regulating online intermediaries and platforms such as marketplaces, social networks and content-sharing platforms providing their services in the EU, aiming to provide better protection for consumers and businesses in the field of online services.
