The Environment and Planning Act (Omgevingswet) will come into force on 1 January 2024. This will have major implications in practical terms. The seminar addresses all there is to know about the Environment and Planning Act in one day.

10:00 – 10:35 am: Plenary opening session – Jan Reinier van Angeren

10:35 – 10:45 am: Break

10:45 – 11:45 am: Round 1 with two expert sessions

  1. Environmental strategy and programme – Jan Reinier van Angeren and Rut Molenaar-Wingens
  2. Environment plan and dowry – Jake Tingen and Sandra Putting

11:45 am – 12:00 noon: Break

12:00 noon – 1:00 pm: Round 2 with two expert sessions

  1. Environment plan and flexibility – Anne-Marie Span and Pauline van Lingen
  2. Regulation of environmentally harmful activities via Living Environment (Activities) Decree and Environment Plan – Valérie van ‘t Lam and Jelmer Ypinga

1:00 - 1:30 pm: Lunch

1:30 – 2:30 pm: Round 3 with two expert sessions

  1. Project decision-making – Jan van Oosten and Frédérique ten Hoeve
  2. To build under the Environment and Planning Act – Tijn Kortmann and Koen Giezeman
