He advises a wide range of international clients with a focus on clients in the financial sector. His practice involves a broad range of tax issues, including providing legal opinions, advising investment funds, and tax litigation. In 2016 Reinier obtained a PhD from Leiden University for a doctoral thesis on inheritance tax.
Reinier has written numerous books, articles and case commentaries on tax law issues. He is also a part-time assistant professor at Leiden University.
