Nikita obtained her master's degree with honours in Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure at Leiden University in 2019.
She is secretary of the disciplinary committee of the Royal Dutch Speed Skating Federation (Koninklijke Nederlandse Schaatsenrijders Bond) and a member of the Dutch Association of Young Criminal Defence Lawyers (Nederlandse Vereniging van Jonge Strafrechtadvocaten).
