Within the Environment & Planning practice, Jane specialises in administrative law and environmental law, with a special interest in permits, compliance and enforcement, nitrogen related issues and the allocation of limited public rights by the government.

Jane acts as an advisor, negotiator and litigator for clients from both the public and private sector in a wide range of public law matters. She represents her clients before the Dutch courts and in negotiations with government agencies and other public authorities.

Jane holds a master’s degree in constitutional and administrative law and bachelor’s degrees in law and European studies (University of Amsterdam). She joined the Environment & Planning practice in June 2018. In 2021, she spent a year in Stibbe’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice, where she acted as counsel in contractual disputes and liability issues.

Jane is a member of the Stibbe StartsUP Committee. She regularly publishes articles on the Stibbe blog and in journals such as Bouwrecht and AB Rechtspraak Bestuursrecht.
