Sending and receiving large files
Stibbe uses ZIVVER to send and receive large files that are usually rejected due to their size. ZIVVER also allows us to send privacy-sensitive information using the latest security.
Accessing a message sent via ZIVVER
If you have received an email from Stibbe via ZIVVER, you can open the message by clicking the blue link ‘Click for message’. The secure ZIVVER environment will open automatically. To access the message, you have to insert an access code or an SMS code. This is to ensure that only you can see the message.
Opening a message with a verification email
If you have received a message that is secured with a verification email, click ‘Unlock message’ and then click ‘Send Code’. You will receive an email containing a one-time access code. Insert this code in the appropriate field in the next dialogue box on your screen and click ‘Unlock message’. You can now read the message and download the attachments.
Opening a message with an access code
If you received a message that is secured with an access code, the sender must provide you with an access code via email, by phone or in person. When you have been provided with the access code, click ‘Click for message’ and insert the access code you have received. You can now read the message and download the attachments. If you have not received an access code, please contact the sender.
Opening a message with an SMS code
If you received a message that is secured with an SMS code, click ‘Click for message’ and then click ‘Send SMS’. You will receive an SMS message to your phone containing a code. Insert the code in the appropriate field in the next dialogue box on your screen and click ‘Unlock message’. You can now read the message and download the attachments.
Responding to an email sent via ZIVVER
You have read the message that was sent to you via ZIVVER on a secure web page. If you want to respond to the message, you can do so by remaining on this page (not through your regular email). Click ‘Reply’ on the page. Type your message in the window, and add any attachments if necessary using the ‘Add attachments’ button (it looks like a paperclip). Click ‘Send’ to send your reply. When the recipient of your message responds, you will receive another notification message.
