Stibbe’s Amsterdam office, in cooperation with the Stichting Kennis Gebiedsontwikkeling, is organising a webinar on the state of affairs regarding nitrogen regulation and the opportunities for area development. The webinar will he held on Wednesday 3 June.
During the webinar, Jan Reinier van Angeren will cover the background and what brought us to the current situation, and Anna Collignon will explain where we are now by means of a practical discussion of the jurisprudence and legislation following the PAS ruling. Among other things, an answer will be given to the question: what is needed to allow an area development to go ahead? Jan Jacob van Dijk (former Gelderland representative and member of the Remkes Committee) will give an explanation of the advice of the Remkes Committee, which is expected to be published in mid-May. Using an example, the Land Registry Office will provide an explanation of how nitrogen is dealt with in practice.
Friso de Zeeuw (emeritus professor of area development) will be in charge of the discussion, and Co Verdaas (professor of area development) will provides a wrap-up and reflection.
