Tender rules for the Hollandse Kust Zuid Wind Farm Zone have been published

The tender rules for Site I and II of the Hollandse Kust Zuid Wind Farm Zone have been published. The Ministry of Economic Affairs published the Ministerial Order for permitting offshore wind energy permits on 17 October 2017 in the Government Gazette. The rules can be downloaded in Dutch and English.

Applications can be submitted from 15 December 2017 until 21 December 2017, at 17:00 CET.

This tender will be based on the procedure without subsidies. This means that the applications will be ranked. The ranking criteria and the weighting of the ranking criteria are set out in the tender rules and concern (i) the knowledge and experience of the parties involved, (ii) the quality of the design for the wind farm, (iii) the capacity of the wind farm, (iv) the social costs, (v) the quality of the identification and analysis of the risks, and (vi) the quality of the measures to ensure cost-efficiency.
