Review and Potential Revision of Wet financieel toezicht (Wft)

On 22 November 2016 the Ministry of Finance has started a consultation (in Dutch) to see how the Financial Supervision Act (Wet financieel toezicht) may be made more accessible and future-proof in light of the Wft’s relative complexity and volume. The primary aim of the consultation is to obtain insight into issues relating to the Wft and whether a revision thereof is accordingly in order.
