In dit boek staat de toekomst van het accountantstoezicht, rechtsbescherming en ontwikkeling van beroepsnormen centraal. Dit boek bouwt daarmee voort op deel 1 van de ICFG reeks, dat in 2014 onder de titel Bouwen aan vertrouwen verscheen. Hierin werd de Wet toezicht accountantsorganisaties (Wta) geëvalueerd.
