Stibbe is advising Palex Medical, a Spain-based company specialising in high value-added MedTech equipment and solutions, on its planned acquisition of Duomed, a fast-growing European MedTech distributor.

Subject to the transaction completing, the combined group will create the first truly pan-European distribution platform providing medical technology (‘MedTech’) equipment and solutions across Northern, Western, and Southern Europe.
The cross-border Stibbe team was led by Dries Hommez and Marc Habermehl. Stibbe works closely together with Sullivan & Cromwell London on this transaction, which is expected to close in Q3 2024.
