Lizelotte De Maeyer is a member of our Brussels tax team. She specialises in national and international corporate tax law and taxation of real estate transactions.
Lizelotte handles a wide range of tax matters from tax advisory work to tax litigation. She assists clients regularly in seeking tax rulings. Furthermore, Lizelotte focuses on tax aspects in corporate and real estate transactions. She is also the author of several publications on corporate tax law and tax procedures.
Lizelotte graduated in law from Ghent University in 2011. She holds an LL.M. in tax law from the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB, 2012). In 2016, she obtained an LL.M. in international taxation from the New York University School of Law as a Fulbright scholar. In that same year, Lizelotte was a legal intern at the United Nations department of economic and social affairs in New York (for which she received an LL.M. scholarship).
Lizelotte joined Stibbe in 2018 after having spent more than 6 years at another law firm in Brussels.
