15 December 2017: Hans Van Bavel moderates at TI-Belgium's workshop on minimizing compliance risks

On 15 December 2017, Transparency International Belgium organises a workshop in partnership with AB InBev and Stibbe.

​The workshop will focus on what Belgian export-driven SME's can do in practice to make sure they meet both current and future compliance procedures and standards. Hans Van Bavel will moderate a session based on actual compliance cases that have shaped our approach to ethical and legal dilemmas.

Such liability exists if there is a link between the origin of the defect and the running of the business. In its decision of 24 November 2017 (ECLI:NL:HR:2017:3016), the Dutch Supreme Court clarified how to ascertain whether there is such a link.
