Op 17 juni 2016 werden de Europese Audit Richtlijn (“Richtlijn”) en de Europese Audit Verordening (“Verordening”) van toepassing.

Het wetsvoorstel ter implementatie van de Richtlijn en ter uitvoering van Verordening (“Wetsvoorstel”) is op 4 mei 2016 ingediend bij de Tweede Kamer en wordt behandeld onder dossiernummer 34 469. 17 juni 2016 is de uiterste implementatiedatum van de Richtlijn. In deze alert worden naar aanleiding van het Wetsvoorstel de meest relevante voorgestelde wijzigingen toegelicht.
