Stibbe wins M&A Awards for 'Best Equity Capital Markets Lawyer' and 'Best Deal Midmarket'

On Thursday 10 December 2015, two partners from Stibbe were awarded M&A Awards during the annual gala organized by the publishing house and educational institute, Alex van Groningen.

Pieter Schütte won 'Best Equity Capital Markets Lawyer', one of the most important awards. Duco de Boer was awarded the 'Best Deal Midmarket' for his involvement in the Egeria – Imtech Traffic & Infra deal.

Winners were selected through a survey among hundreds of M&A experts in the deal making community, such as law firms, private equity houses, general counsels and investment banks.

Articles - In 2013 Belgian Parliament enacted the Belgian Act on security rights in movable property of 11 July 2013 (the “Act”). This new legislation envisaged the creation of an electronic, online National Pledge Register so that a pledge on movable assets can be created between pledgor and pledgee and perfected by registering the pledge and without dispossession or loss of control of the pledged assets.
