Advising Cyrte Investments on the acquisition of Telefonica’s 75% stake in Endemol.

A consortium consisting of Cyrte Investments, Goldman Sachs Capital Partners and Mediaset (together with its Spanish listed subsidiary Telecinco), has agreed to buy Telefonica’s 75% stake in Endemol NV, the Netherlands-based television production company.  As a part of the acquisition the consortium will launch an unconditional public offer for the remaining shares in Endemol.
