Equity Capital Markets

As a top-tier equity markets practice, we regularly advise issuers and underwriters on securities offerings and listings – guiding them through every stage.

We have a proven track record of providing legal advice on a range of transactions. These include IPOs, rights issues, secondary offerings, privatisations, block trades, private placements and issues of convertible bonds and warrants. Many of our international and domestic securities offerings and listings involve a Rule 144A element.

We also have extensive international experience, with our dedicated ECM teams working closely with top US and UK firms. This allows us to deliver coordinated transactional services in each relevant jurisdiction.

An invaluable aspect of our ECM practice is its integration with our financial markets group. Through this coordinated approach, we combine all aspects of securities and financial law, whether it relates to transactions, advisory and compliance matters, or that of enforcement action by regulators.

We also work in close partnership with colleagues from other practices such as tax, employment and finance, in creating the most effective solutions.
