Short Reads - Het wetsvoorstel aanvullende maatregelen accountantsorganisaties (“Wetsvoorstel”) geeft uitvoering aan het voornemen van de Minister van Financiën om, mede gelet op de ernst van de bevindingen van de AFM in het onderzoek naar de kwaliteit van wettelijke controles door de Big 4-accountantsorganisaties in 2014, aanvullende wettelijke maatregelen te nemen. De AFM is van mening dat accountantsorganisaties, ook onafhankelijk van het Wetsvoorstel, nog meer stappen moeten zetten naar verbetering.
