Stibbe assists tobacco producers

Stibbe assisted tobacco producers in various regulatory matters and questions on tobacco and related legislation. We advised them on the launch of new tobacco products and related regulations, on the implementation of the tobacco directive on its product packaging, and on plain packaging in Belgium. We also assisted with the drafting of contracts and in national Court procedures regarding prohibited tobacco advertising (closing year 2022) and competition claims (closing year 2023), and in procedures before the Court of Justice.
