Climate goals and energy targets: legal perspectives

Seminar
BE Law
EU Law

On Tuesday April 30th, Stibbe organizes a seminar on climate goals and energy targets. Climate change has incited different international and supranational institutions to issue climate goals and renewable energy targets. Both the UN and the EU have led this movement with various legal instruments.

The seminar will focus on the enforceability in court of these climate goals and energy targets: Are they enforceable in court? Will they impact new or existing projects? To whom will the extra costs be passed on?

During the break and after the seminar, there will be plenty of opportunities to exchange ideas with the speakers and other attendees.
