She has a Master of Laws in European Law (LL.M.) (2015) graduating cum laude from Leiden University. She also has a Master of Laws in Access to the Legal Profession (LL.M.) (2019) from Nebrija University in Spain.
In 2021, Maria completed the Stibbe MBA Highlights Programme at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.
