Jeroen advises both lenders and borrowers in banking and finance matters. He has experience in both domestic and cross-border deals. He specializes in corporate lending and acquisition finance and issues regarding syndicated lending, leveraged transactions and restructurings.

Jeroen advises both lenders and borrowers in banking and finance matters. He has experience in both domestic and cross-border deals. He specializes in corporate lending and acquisition finance and issues regarding syndicated lending, leveraged transactions and restructurings.
His clients include Dutch and foreign banks, corporates and private equity funds. He was part of the Stibbe team who advised HEMA’s management board on HEMA’s debt restructuring in the summer of 2020.
In October 2020, Jeroen published an article in ‘het Maandblad van Vermogensrecht’ in which he discusses the judgment of the court of Midden-Nederland of 18 December 2019 and the relevant authorities of the pledgee under the right of pledge of a receivable.
He has a master’s degree in Private Law from the University of Amsterdam and a master’s degree in Tax Law from the Vrije Universiteit (2018).
