He regularly conducts legal proceedings and arbitrations in corporate issues relating to post-M&A disputes (including warranty claims), director’s liability, and proceedings before the enterprise chamber of the Amsterdam Court of Appeal. Robert-Jan also advises corporate clients from all industry sectors on corporate structuring and mergers and acquisitions.

Robert-Jan has a master’s in law from Utrecht University (2012) and attended the Stibbe Mini MBA Highlights Programme at INSEAD (2017). He is also a lecturer at The Law Firm School and has given lectures at various universities in the Netherlands.
