Janna has specialist knowledge in all related areas of IP law, providing pragmatic, tailored solutions to both domestic and foreign clients.
In her practice, Janna handles the various legal aspects of marketing products and services, such as seeking intellectual property protection, drafting (licensing and IP transfer) contracts, compliance with applicable legislation and regulations, advice on promotional campaigns, and assisting clients in conflict situations such product recalls.
Janna has also extended her practice to a broader range of fields of law such as advertising law, food and labelling law, Internet law/e-commerce, distribution/agency/franchise law and unfair competition.
Furthermore, Janna closely cooperates with other practice groups in providing IP advice and assistance in transactions.
She has a master’s in law from Groningen University and an LL.M. from London University.
